Deaddiction
The total reliance on a specific substance or circumstance is known as addiction. Other than alcohol and narcotics, a variety of substances can cause substance addiction.
Description:
Addiction is a neurological and behavioural illness. No matter how much harm the drugs may do, the need to use them becomes overwhelming when you are hooked to them. You're more likely to escape some of the most serious effects of drug addiction—also known as substance use disorder—if you get treatment for it early on. Addiction to drugs involves more than just heroin, cocaine, or other illicit substances. Alcohol, nicotine, prescription drugs for anxiety and sleep disorders, and other acceptable substances can all lead to addiction. Addiction to opioids, which are narcotic painkillers, can also occur from using prescription or illicitly obtained drugs.
