Sleep problems are many, but in general they are those which disrupt normal sleep patterns, making it hard to fall asleep, stay asleep. When not addressed these can affect physical health, mental well-being and overall quality of life, by causing unwanted stress.

Symptoms

Nidra nasha -when vata dosha gets aggravated ,due to follow of vata vruddhi kar food and activities, this vata enters masthiska,then enters to mano vaha srotas,causes very difficulty to fall asleep,no sleep.Though the patient is tired,patient is not able to sleep and when slept can not remain asleep.Ayurveda way of approach is to bring vata dosha back to prakruta awastha (balance state), improve and correct normal circadian rhythm,to encourage natural sleep cycle by following of ayurvedic panchakarma treatment and local treatment for reducing stress and calm the agitated and restless mind.
