Myositis

Description:

Myositis is a muscle-related inflammatory condition. Myositis comes in a variety of forms the majority of which are highly treatable. It is possible that it will go undiagnosed for a long time before the symptoms of muscle weakness manifest. Juvenile myositis affects children aged 5 to 15. It frequently results in a rash as well as fatigue and muscle weakness. Muscle disorder is referred to as myopathy. Inflammatory myopathies are a group of diseases characterised by chronic muscle inflammation and weakness. Myositis is another term for chronic inflammation of muscle tissue.

Cause:

Joint Pain: Some people with myositis experience joint pain which can be mistaken for other conditions such as arthritis. Fatigue: Muscle weakness and pain frequently cause fatigue which can interfere with daily functioning.
