Overview
Premature ejaculation (PE) is a prevalent sexual dysfunction among men, defined as the occurrence of ejaculation sooner than desired. This condition is typically characterised by ejaculation that consistently takes place within one minute of penetration or is associated with a significant reduction in control, often manifesting within three minutes. PE may be classified as either lifelong or acquired, emerging after a period of normal sexual function. The condition can lead to significant distress and interpersonal difficulties for both partners involved.
Causes
Anxiety - Performance Anxiety, general Anxiety, and stress
Depression
Low Self-Esteem, a negative Self-image and diminished confidence can serve as contributing factors to premature ejaculation.

Shukra vaha sroto vikara - Here, due to causes like ratri jagarana(night awakening), excess of exersion, vega dharana(suppression of natural urges), etc, all lead to vata dosha prakopa in shukravaha srotas(male genital tract), causing symptoms of premature ejaculation.
