Revulsive compress
Naturopathy
A useful compress that is placed on the skin to reduce pain without causing a heat wave. In order to get the desired effects, heat and cold treatments are applied to the skin in a way that prevents the skin's temperature from falling below normal.
How it is done?
A revulsive compress is created by alternating between hot (98-104°F) and cold (55-65°F) compresses.
